I’ve always wanted to crochet a blanket in warm colors and now I did :) This warm combination of colors and pattern will keep you in a good mood during winter’s cold days. What could be better than wrap yourself in the blanket with a cup of hot chocolate?
Materials:
Yarn: Gazzal Baby Cotton 60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic, 246 yards / 50 grams, Sport / 5 ply – 20 skeins
Crochet Hook: 3 mm
Stitches Used: ch-chain, sl st-slip stitch, sc-single crochet, dc-double crochet, dc2tog or dc3tog- 2 or 3 dc crochet together fpdc-front post double crochet, bpdc-back post double crochet

Crochet Square
Start with ch-6, join with sl to 1st ch
Round 1: ch-4, * dc in the circle, ch-1 **, repeat from * to ** around, join with sl st to top of ch-3 (12 dc with ch-1 between)
Round 2: sl st in next ch-1 space, ch-2, dc2tog in same space, * ch-2, dc3tog in next ch-1 space ** repeat from * to ** around, join with sl st to top of dc2tog
Round 3: * sc in next ch-2 space, 4 dc in next ch-2 space, ch-3, 4 dc in same space, sc in next ch-2 space, ch-3 ** repeat from * to ** around, join with sl st to 1st sc
When you are crocheting the last round of the motif, you don’t complete the whole round, join them as you are finishing the last round (in each ch-3 space)

Round 1: make the round of dc around the blanket, 5 dc in each corner (ch-3 space), join with sl st to 1st st
Round 2-4: ch-2, * fpdc in next dc, bpdc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** around, join with sl st to top of ch-2
